Stanchions, retractable barriers and rope barriers all play an important role in protecting your display products and also make great crowd control barrier posts for all your patrons and customers. Remember to place the stations near doorway entrances and around objects that need to be protected from the general public. You will find that the control barriers will speak for themselves as people will easily read the “interior-scape” of your premises and be able to guide themselves through the area. Most of all, make sure your barrier posts have a weighted base so that they cannot be easily knocked over.

within the city, you will often find stanchions built to be raised automatically to block cars from entering one way streets. this ultimately closes off traffic and allows for more pedestrians to walk through the area or can allow for construction work to be done in that street. Much like retractable barriers these are a great way to control traffic and protect areas of interest. rope barrier stanchions are a useful tool in the way that the street stanchions are a great tool. ANother benefit of using rope barriers and retractable barriers is that colours can be chosen to help indicate the why an area might be closed off from the general public. for instance a red retractable barrier post might indicate that there is danger ahead, while a blue rope barrier might indicate that there is a function for guests only. Either way, your stanchion will help give you total control over your premises and which members of the public are allowed to go through the barrier posts stanchions.

Stanchions or tensa barriers also known as retractable barriers are also a great way to stop children from pushing through in line. There are double belted retractable barriers available which stretch belts from the top and from mid way of the two posts. This lower belt is key when it comes to stopping children pushing through in lines and will prevent children from ducking and weaving through the line. Places such as the airport will find that this type of queue management system ideal as there are always kids running around while parents are checking in their bags. They would also be great for when people are going through customs. Another place where there needs to be total queue management control. This type of queue management does not really have to change once tensa barriers are set up, they stay up and the belts never have to be lifted off to allow people through an area. ANother place that could take advantage of a double belted retractable banner is the amusement park. Lots of children here that are impatiently waiting in the queue management lines. This type of retractable barrier will stop kids from weaving and ducking through the lines, keeping everyone happy.

Stanchion accessories can be used at any point along your queue management line. Accessories for stanchions can include things like sign holders. These sign holders for stanchions are usually made of the same material to match the rope barrier or retractable barrier and are a great way to advertise your products or services. Most importantly, these sign holders can indicate to your audience where to line up or explain why a queue management system has been put into place. If you have created a queue management systems where rope barriers or retractable barrier have been placed to be zig-zagged along a shop floor, you can always use the sign holders at each post. Most barrier posts are modular, so you will be able to take off the tops of barriers and have them replaced with the stanchion sign holder. Other accessories for your stanchions that we have seen are cigarette trays or ash trays. These are a great way to have crowds wait outside your premises. Any pub or club that has created a line will most likely want to have a stanchion with a built-in ash tray in place to keep patrons happy and it will also lessen the chance of having excessive cigarette butts around your premises. So whatever accessories you choose for your stanchion, make sure they are the right ones for your customers. And make sure that your retractable barrier post or rope barrier caters for any accessories.

Placing rope barriers, stanchions or retractable barriers in areas that need to be fenced off from crowds is a great way for venues to prepare for the area fro their patrons. Simply by placing stanchions to block off entries will allow your workers to prepare seats, catering, brochures or anythign that your patrons require during the event. This will give you more space and time as you will not have to deal with other people within the area while you are preperation is happening. You will also find that building the crowd outside may bring more people to the area and create interest. In the mean time, you could also be using stanchions as a way of creating queues to create order outside. Retractable barriers or othe types of crowd control tools are a great way to increase and organise space outside the venue.

Queue management products are more innovative and we’ll be taking a closer look at some of these new products on the market and how they might benefit you.

Firstly, the retractable barrier is a popular quick fix solution to any venue that requires crowd control barriers. Usually constructed from stainless steel and feature a retractable length of nylon webbing, they are easy to use and are a great way to control crowds. However, we have found that there is a tensabarrier that features two retractable strips of webbing. This means that any pesky patron that allows themselves through will have to get themselves through two barriers. It also means that anyone trying to jump the queue will have more trouble- especially at places like airports or amusement parks where lines can be a 20 minute wait.

We spotted a great retractable barrier that has been used on site. Yellow and black in colour, this retractable barrier has been used to warn people of a work being done and to warn that there might be danger ahead. It’s a great way to ward off people and as they are retractable barriers they are easy to store and transport. Being reusable also has its cost and environmental benefits. The retractable barriers or tensabarriers also come in different materials- hard wearing plastic for outdoors and also with rubber bases to stop them from slipping indoors on wet surfaces as seen below. This particular retractable barrier also has been built to stand up to anyone knocking over with its pyramid shape. This type of retractable barrier is great for places such as busy shopping malls and anywhere that sees a lot of foot traffic.

Crowd control barriers are a great addition to any cafe or restaurant and here’s why.

Stanchions can be used in a clever way which allows you to “add” more space to your cafe. The more patrons you have, the more business you will receive. They can also act as marketing and advertising as shown above. These types of crowd control barriers are a great way of marketing your business and also show your patronage out on the streets enjoying what you have to offer. These large crowd barriers can also act as protection from wind and from the general public who are not paying customers.

If your business is in amongst other businesses that use these types of crowd control barriers, you will be able to separate you restaurant from you will also be able to compete for customers by using advertisement on your crowd control barriers. In these types of situations, you could use the rope barrier or retractable barriers however there are more advantages to using barriers with advertising to lure more customers.

The crowd control barrier also allows a restaurant to have overheard heating. potted plants and other outdoor accessories to help create an environment for your customers. Generally people like to enjoy the outdoors while they are eating so why not make that experience for the. The crowd control barrier gives you more control over the setting for your patrons and the more comfortable te setting, the more likely that they will come back to your crowd controlled environment.

Lastly, crowd control barriers like rope barriers can help create an important space. Just by having a barrier post or crowd control barriers in place give the impression of exclusiveness. If there were just chairs and tables out in front of your premises, your patrons sitting there would look quite lost amongst the space. With a crowd barrier, you are creating an area especially for you patrons and they will feel more at ease when they are housed in by a crowd barrier. These types of barriers have also proved to be successful at places like car dealerships as they let people know what they can and cannot go near. Rope barriers and retractable barriers have also been used in this scenario but if you want to advertise and to make your patrons feel comforted by the protection of stanchions, use those and take advantage of that advertising space.

Rope barriers are a great alternative to the tensa barrier or retractable barrier when it comes to formal events. Places like weddings, theatres, formal functions, car dealerships and red carpet events all look great with rope barriers in place. Allowing your venue or company to look great should be on the top of your priority list. Rope barriers are sure to be the crowd control barrier that will suit your venue.

When it comes to a rope barrier, having them at places like weddings- especially when there are many guests, you’ll need some crowd control that doesn’t make your wedding looking like a sporting event for A-listers. Try a the rope barrier and you’ll find that it will add a touch of class and could also stop your in laws from eating all the food.

Rope fencing will also allow you to have customers in your car dealership view vehicles from a good distance. It will stop people from touching or trying to open the doors without your supervision. The theatre is also a great place to have rope barriers. Rope barriers stop people from walking into the theatre when the show is on or stop people from entering without a ticket. The perfect addition to any broadway show or movie.

So don’t just stop a one rope barrier, get a few and make sure your crowd control system is in check.

Anyone that has been in a queue can understand that crowd barriers are a necessity when it comes to crowd control. Even when there is only a few people in line, having a controlled area can make your work place a lot easier to manage. Take for example a queue at the amusement park. With such a huge amount of people coming through, there needs to be a controlled line created for people to line up in. If you are able to, its great to zig zag the line. In doing so, this creates more space and ensures that people do not push through. Barrier posts make people conform if they want to jump onto the ride. Other recent incidents are where barrier posts are necessary for the launch of new products. Take the launch of Apple’s very own iPad. People queueing for days just so that they can be one of the first to have an iPad. Queue management is imperative in a situation like this as people know the importance of standing behind one of these stanchions. Lines or queues are something that people are made aware of and using the barrier posts communicates to people on a visual level. It gives the necessary information to work out how long they will have to stand behind a rope barrier and gives them a ranking or placing.

If you have a barrier post line that is quite long, you may want to keep those in waiting entertained or give them something to read while they are in queue. Queue management can be utilise by displaying other distractions from being in a long line. SOme supermarkets like to display goods like magazines at the counter so that they may entice people to make quick purchases. They account for a lot of sales and the displays are always carefully constructed to get people to buy while they are behind those crowd barriers.

Another advantage to having a long line is to display tubs of goods on sale just so that you can move old stock and to increase sales from those last-minute decisions people make. Crowd barricades like this will allow for people to stop and they are made to look at items to buy. Rope barriers are not ideal for this type of situation but the tensa barrier or retractable barriers would suit. This is because of the appearance of the tensa barrier and its function. Even if ou had a small area to cut off with a crowd barrier, the tensa barrier would still be able to block traffic, whereas with the rope barrier, people will tend to move or walk over them.
